The R&A
The R&A's Golf Development Committee continues to consider applications from private members' clubs for interest free loans. Projects which qualify for consideration include; repairs to a golf course following disaster, land purchase to protect a course and provision of new or improved practice faclilities. Projects which would not qualify include; any form of buildings work, installation of irrigation or drainage and all normal course maintenance matters.
Consideration of any case offers no guarantee that loan assistance will be forthcoming and clubs should also be aware that grants are no longer offered for any purpose.
